Simply renewing Office would never affect any existing settings.
Strange how Automobile-payment was made & the side by side day I tin't open emails.

Checked my account, I do not have this feature ON.
Use Pop or IMAP to sync AOL Mail on a third-party app or download your email I've tried these settings & they are not syncing.
when I open Outlook, every 10 seconds I get this pop up.
Everything was running well, I never changed anything. Why did this happen?

Information technology's non a case of having 2 factor hallmark enabled - for Outlook, an <App Password> is required whether or not 2FA is explicitly enabled. The aforementioned is true of Yahoo accounts etc as described in the Microsoft article under the section

PLEASE READ AND SHARE TO OTHER FORUMS.
The solution for this trouble is to create a "new" password from the aol site.
1. Log in to AOL email on browser.
ii. Get to account and select business relationship settings.
3. At the bottom, there is an option to generate an "app countersign" Select the arrangement you are using (Outlook) and copy the countersign into yous password field on the login for Outlook.
4. That should let y'all log in permanently.

The solution for this problem is to create a "new" password from the aol site.
1. Log in to AOL email on browser.
2. Go to account and select account settings.
3. At the bottom, there is an selection to generate an "app countersign" Select the organization you are using (Outlook) and copy the password into you password field on the login for Outlook.
4. That should let you log in permanently.

I followed your instructions to generate an app countersign. I still get this error message saying "At this time your email, calendar, and contacts account can't be added. Please try again afterwards: I'm using my blackberry passport phone. I had to download and use Gmail instead.
