We were welcomed by Paul who gave us a tour and a run down of local food and nightlife. We enjoyed exploring Derry from this location. We ended every night is the main sitting room with some water or tea, just soaking up that space which is beautiful in the evening. This is a great property. We really enjoyed our time.

Being a multi award winning supplier in the wedding industry I have high standards and look out for this , from decor ,cleanliness , amenities and overall feeling of the cottage We just loved it, was so warm and welcoming , the hosts go above and beyond to facilitate , a bottle of wine and beautiful carrot cake placed on the table with a personalized note as a welcome pack to a box of milk tray left on our bed , the little gestures mean the most , All you need is in walking distance , including a Chinese , restaurants , grocery/newsagents , beautiful walks and fabulous monuments. I would personally recommend to my clients as a honeymoon cottage destination or a simple retreat to relax and take time out .

The holiday home offers a barbecue. The property was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. It is in a good central location for east Ireland. From this location, we drove to Giants Causeway, Carrick a Rede rope bridge, Belfast, Blackrock County Louth, Dublin, Bray, and Avoca. All drives were 1-2 hours, but so nice to return to one place at the end of the day. The cottage has a wonderful view of Slieve Gullion. We drove around all sides of the mountain and to the top. The drive to the top is absolutely breathtaking!!! The host was wonderful. He checked almost everyday to see if we needed anything and gave us tips on places to see each day. Be sure to try Murphy Bar as it is much more impressive on the inside and the food is great. The local Mace grocery had most things we needed. It is a short drive into Newry for large supermarkets and a shopping mall. The cottage is equipped for cooking so we ate breakfast and dinner there and packed a lunch. I can't say enough good things about this cottage!!! We stayed there 6 days.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We loved the suitcase idea with nice home comforts to make our stay more enjoyable. The food at the hotel was lovely. Breakfast was a little cold but sorted quickly once I brought ot to the staffs attention.

We loved how stylish and nicely decorated everything was. The owners were so helpful and always on hand. Everything was very clean and we loved the little touches! I'd love for Linzi and Mark to decorate my home 🤣 There's a bus stop that brings you to the city centre less than a minutes walk away which is great! If I'm ever in Belfast again I'll make sure to see if this place is available, it's nicer than some hotels I've stayed in and for a very reasonable price.
